Wrongful Termination

In Florida, due to it being an at will state, an employer can terminate your employment with no reason.  However an employer can’t terminate you if you are a qualified whistleblower, or are being sexually harassed and refuse to respond to the sexual harassers advances, or if you are on medical leave provided by the FMLA. There are many types of wrongful termination cases despite being Florida being an at will state.
